Wendell & Wild 2022
the stop motion animation was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. i loved the character design and the infusion of black characters and culture. it’s always so lovely to see characters that look like me, or little me, on screen.
a lot of the writing/plot seemed all over the place but honestly, i overlooked it bc of how much an enjoyable time the film was.
as a 20 year old black girl who wants to go into animation, i’m so happy there are more…
