Portrait of a Lady on Fire 2019
This movie ripped my heart out. It was beautiful and devastating. I loved that so much of it felt like a painting. It’s so impressive to me when a slower paced movie can keep my interest throughout. When I don’t want to look away for a second, because I don’t want to miss any of the beautiful subtleties. This story is so beautiful and so sad and I cried so hard.
