  Whoops, all Barbies!

  Fun and aesthetically outstanding. Distracted by how stellar the detailing in the costuming and set were 🤌🏼 Margot Robbie??? Yes. Gosling? Yes. They made the tone. 

  For all the creativity in the aesthetics, the script and the execution lacked. The humor and on-the-nose commentary just wasn’t my taste. A lot of pointing without unpacking.   Everything will be ok

  Risky but successful balance of tones, both outlandish and devastating. A+ cast of characters. Amidst the torrent of movement and energy, Baker keeps so much vague and sparingly utilizes stillness to lay tragedy over all the zaniness.
