A Real Pain 2024
Raw, really felt the frustration Jesse Eisenberg’s character had towards Benji. Seeing the difference in Benji’s and David’s perspective on life and tackling hardship felt very real. Like seeing two parallel paths. This idea of Benji having this untapped potential that he throws away was definitely understandable. David’s dinner scene and the playing of the piano by Benji really highlighted this. Watching David give Benji this, “Be the guy I look up to and stop moping” slap at the end…

Lhakpa is one of the most strongest women I have ever seen. Not just the fact she ascended to the summit of Mt.Everest 10 times, but the fact she went through soo much hardship. This build up of her finally reaching the peak was very touching, and much needed for her and us the viewers.
