Managed to last until the end but I didn’t get along with this at all, a lot of short scenes flung together, after twenty minutes or so it was just an endurance test of nameless characters meeting up in dodgy parts of Brussels in the middle of the night: the highlight was the Willie Thorne looking-likie lying in bed who hears someone singing ‘in the club style’ in the arse end of the night, which speaks volumes . Not exactly the most awaited big screen comeback of recent years, this outstayed its welcome very quickly, everything just smothered in c bombs and line after line just landing dead in the water. I don’t know who the cinematographer was on this but the whole thing just looks poorly lit and shoddy, that and a cavalcade of piss poor ‘performances’ from the supporting cast did not make me nostalgic for the tidal wave of British films made in the 2000s aimed at Nuts and Zoo readers that ended up clogging up the dvd shelves in Poundland’s around the country.

Wolf Man 2025
Dreadful, I can’t say I’m an expert on werewolf movies but this is quite possibly the worst one I’ve ever seen and almost made me nostalgic for Hugh Jackmans ‘noooooo!’ turn in Van Helsing 😣 The quality of the werewolf makeup was diabolical, making them look like rejects from Ghoulies and the whole thing was shot so dark it was difficult to tell wtf was happening for long stretches. Christopher Abbott wasn’t given much to work with, when he started trying to eat his own arm it was just ‘oh dear, how sad, never mind’

It was ok but it was very much like something made for a lower budget cable channel: yes his wife, children and father appear in it, along with Raekwon, Ghostface Killah (and Mariah Carey) but nothing from RZA, GZA or Method Man, that and the timelines get very sketchy. A better film about ODB is still waiting to be made.
