  So hard to believe this was made by the same studio that did spirited away. I guess this movie is earlier so maybe that is why it is not as good ? 

  I wish they didn’t humanize the raccoons so much because it is almost counter intuitive to the whole point of the story. For the raccoons to save their home and beat the humans, they have to become human just seems like a cheap solution to what could’ve been…

  Wow! The symbolism in this movie is insane. I think this movie can be perceived in a few ways.. you can either focus on the unity of the animals, or you can focus on the calamity surrounding them. The studio did a great job showing you the severity of their situation, while also showing that there is more to survival than being scared.
