I freaking love this movie… for so many reasons. I took my very first date to see this movie at the theater… so that was great. The “You can’t handle the truth” scene - melted my face off. In that moment, Jack became one of my favorite actors of all time. Watching the movie decades later, sure, it’s lost much of its luster. It doesn’t hold up compared to so many of the great movies - but I’ll always love this film. One of my favorites!
