    Fun!

Intermittently moving and thought-provoking in ways I wasn’t expecting while being cartoonishly unsubtle (not necessarily bad) in other ways.

Caught this at a really good personal time I think. My mental health and self-image have been, broadly, Not Great As Of Late, and so watching a movie that is, in essence and TRULY, more of an existentialist odyssey about a guy who sees himself as a loser who’s lacking any real sense of pleasure/joy/purpose that discovers…if not Meaning,…

Shameful how long it took me to watch this oh my god.

My heart rate is SO elevated right now and I can’t stop smiling oh my god

Ok, so, attempting to organize my thoughts: my biggest concern/question about this movie heading into it was simply wondering what, exactly, the movie was ~about~? Is it a tennis movie, an erotic thriller about this crazy throuple-ish type situation, or a movie about Zendaya manipulating the hell out of two boys and kicking ass, or what exactly?

In short, Challengers is about power dynamics within…
