I went into this movie very skeptical on what the content would be. I had into read a brief description and from that I wasn’t sure if I would like it or not. Needless to say, I really enjoyed it. I felt that there was depth to the characters that wouldn’t normally be brought out with standard storytelling. John Cameron Mitchell did a fantastic job of bringing Hedwig to life and expressed the pure amount of emotion and pain that they must have been going through. I really enjoyed the music and the jokes told throughout. It added an element of carefree delight through any hardship.

Death Note 2017
No. I hate it. Burn it with fire. God awful. Paused it every five minutes to explain what was wrong with it. The only redeeming factor was the CGI for Ryuk, but even then it was only shown for two minutes max. They changed the premise of it so much to the point where it isn’t even slightly the same concept. Hate it.
