  This must be some kind of meta art because it’s goddamn excruciating and not in a good way. If we’re meant to empathize with DiCaprio’s acute suffering in the wilderness by being forced to tolerate extended stretches of boredom and portentousness in the comfort of our own home, it’s wildly successful in creating a feeling of interminable aggravation.
