really impressed and deeply moved! loved the use of shallow depth to capture this sense of hazy memories and childhood/adolescent like wonder despite the heavy subject matter. i think that although the first person pov can be a turn off (b/c of the lack of shot-reverse shot to see exactly how elwood and turner are reacting at any given moment), for me i felt very personally attached to them and it never felt like a cheap gimmick at all
