Man for whatever reason, watching this with someone for their first time made me love this movie all the more. Watching the dissemination of information and how a viewers questions arose as it came up. It’s just a perfect adventure movie the fuck do you want??

Harakiri 1962
This is like the quintessential black and white Japanese movie. Ya got samurai’s, parable like story telling, honor and truth as highest values, the idea of the end of the sword age. Grande ole time. I’ve fucking loved just about every criterion black and white Japanese movie. This is also one of the first movies I added to my watchlist. Wild to finally cross it off.
