A Hidden Life 2019
Quite arguably my favorite movie of the year and possibly a new addition to my top 5. I cannot begin to describe how immersive this film is. It is extremely long and at times you can really feel this, but it was beautiful in every sense. I have never seen a more poetically edited film in my life. The cinematography was incredible as well. As a DP, I’d admit that it was one of those films I wish I could say I shot myself.
