Kraven the Hunter 2024
“She died right after that trip and I never saw her again” deserves the same attention that “He was in the Amazon with my mom when she was researching spiders right before she died” got.
I know I said I was done with my obligatory watches of these. But I guess my morbid curiosity the best of me.
Or should I say… my Morb’d curiosity???
Anyway, this was dogshit. A couple moderately imaginative sequences tho.

Dune: Part Two 2024
Superior to the first, but not enough to warrant an extra half star. (Not an insult, four stars is high praise.)
Has more human pathos in the first thirty minutes than the first movie has in its entire runtime. The images are still stunning, the acting still superb. Pacing issues remain, but at least this movie ends with what feels like an endpoint.
May bring this one up on a second viewing as I did with the first. Struggled to…
