Reallllly dug this one. Super tight, quick, and romantic watch. Loved watching the dynamic between Fassbender and Blanchett. Smart spy dialogue, lot of paranoia. I went in completely blind and I think I got lost a few times. This one doesn’t talk down to the audience, it doesn’t wait for it either. It moves, if you miss something, too bad. Would probably benefit from a rewatch. Regé-Jean Page has such a great presence, hoping to see him in a lot more stuff. Definitely go see this one, Soderbergh has the juice! Always has.

All the performances are really spectacular, with Pattinson as the obvious winner. Ruffalo is one of the performances that I was…

This is one of my all time favorite movies. I’ve seen it so many times, but it’s been a while. It hit me like a truck this time around. Before Chas even says “It’s been a rough year, Dad” I was sobbing. I think it’s my favorite Wes Anderson, which is a high bar because I think all of his films are masterpieces or very close. Performances are all around perfect. I watched it this time with the idea freshly…
