1917 2019
Captivating story of two soldiers sent on a mission to deliver a message beyond enemy lines. The choice of presenting it in, seemingly, one continuous shot (there were discrete edits) really helped draw me into the story and add to the disorientation the soldiers might have felt.
The brutality of the war was driven home by how young the cast is. Just boys. It's tragic the promise of 'never again' was forgotten.

Adolescence 2025
This is receiving plaudits from all over - for its subject matter, acting, and cinematography - and all of it is thoroughly well deserved. It's only March, but I'd be surprised if this isn't the standout TV drama of 2025.
Hopefully it will spark discussions about the pernicious effects of the Manosphere on young men.
