Somehow manages to be a very charming movie, despite Julianne’s best efforts. Loved the music. Especially the helium infused cover of Annie’s Song. And the sing-a-long. What fun!

I love the pacing of this. Horror movies often have the main character enter some kind of slow burn environment - the house that seems normal, the new friend they meet at just the right time. The creepiness tends to crescendo, if not for the audience then at least for the characters.

- Schrodingers cat as a allegory for saying “I love you” to your favorite one night stand
- trench coat full of beetles
Disliked:
- too much exposition
- excessive slurping sounds & sexism
- lacks understanding of the difference between applied vs theoretical physics
- I’m still a lil scared
