The first times I watched this film I had the classic take on the epilogue that it’s what could’ve been if they made different choices. Like the paths they didn’t take. But this time I saw it a little bit differently. I think they both know that the ‘ideal’ epilogue scenario never could’ve happened no matter what choices they made. It’s just simply too unrealistic. There’s a lot of obvious exaggerations in it like the theatre being full, Seb Kissing…
