It's a real feat for a movie to have 12 people in it and not a single character.

It was a perfectly Fine (tm) movie and then they made an absolutely inexplicable choice of song for the end credits. For that reason alone, it deserves more stars than this simple rating system has to offer.

Is it still possible to make a tight, 2-hour non-franchise action thriller? Because they're really good. Like really, really good.

Used to be, you didn't have to include a romance arc or even more than two or three conversations between the leads. You could just put a man and a woman in a movie and we'd all just play along when they hooked up at the end.

No movie has ever been more of its era than this movie is of 2004. This is just where we were, culturally.

They just don't make 'em like this any more.
