I haven’t sat down and watched a movie in a while, so screw it, let’s leave it up to a random movie generator. Lo and behold, I get a movie I dodged last year and didn’t think I would, or necessarily want to, get around to. I’m typically not a fan of sex workers portrayed in movies, but I think this was done particularly well. The final scene wraps the whole thing up in such a satisfying way. I loved…

Don't Worry Darling 2022
Wtf did I just watch. That was pretty bad. Florance Pugh has an amazing performance but for what? Disappointing and dissatisfying to say the least.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 2023
Probably the best Marvel movie since Spider-Man: Into The Spidervese. The way Rocket’s background was incorporated into the movie worked quite well, and the character development was actually much deeper than I expected it to be. The Starlord-Gamora relationship was represented quite well, which I was unsure of how they’d handle that more than any of the other characters. The ending of the main conflict was somewhat predictable, but there were definitely parts where they kept you guessing as to what would happen. Overall, very enjoyable even if you aren’t into the whole MCU. Also, great soundtrack as always with some interesting left field picks.
