A Real Pain 2024
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
If you told me I would give this a 4.5 in the first 30min I would have slapped you. Beautiful story even if Culkins character was overly insufferable at times. The complicated relationship between these two cousins being somewhat resolved while each of their “pain” remained made for a wonderful ending. This may be my favorite score of the year. Chopin a classical composer from Warsaw created the sense that their family history was inseparable from their individual lives and brought the two opposing personalities together. This film bordered corny in all the right ways, I loved it.

Fight Club 1999
Can’t believe it took this long to for me to watch this. I get why it’s so loved. For 1999 the cinematography felt innovative and creative. All the actors killed their roles and the story kept me guessing the whole time. The only thing holding me back from 5 stars is that it didn’t feel relatable but that’s just personal preference. Objectively a great film.
