This film left me heartbroken and angry in equal measure. A truly glorious, funny and joyful film that will have you smiling throughout. Queer filmmaking at its best. Peachy bums, idyllic beached and a cute dog.  What else’s do you need? 🍑🐕🏳️‍🌈

This appeared on many top films of 2024 lists so thought I’d check it out. It’s more a psychological thriller than horror and the story is grim but the violence remains off screen. I found this fairly engaging and well shot, and it perhaps says some interesting things about the current obsession with true crime, but the film never satisfied me. Despite a good ending, I remained none the wiser about the protagonists’ motivations. Frustrating.
