I have nothing against a meandering plot-line and PTAs ability to create pretty frames is fine. However, his name somehow manages to cause hypnosis where audiences are incapable of looking at his work critically. A Lolita-complex “romance”, stereotypes of queer men, racist jokes, the one (1) Black character who is surprisingly hyper-sexualised & sexual assault.
Im bored of seeing these things and having the excuse that the director was being true to the time. yawn
