The Monkey 2025

This was one of the most excruciating watches I’ve ever had to sit through. It’s extremely unfunny when it tries to be and extremely unserious when it tries to be. The dialogue is something out of a Wes Anderson movie and all the characters are atrociously unlikable. Even the death scenes are probably some of the worst deaths I’ve ever witnessed for a horror film. There’s too much CGI used for them and almost all of them make no sense…

Boring. Inept. Pointless.
This film is just so fucking terrible. Giving this movie a full one star is more than this abysmal mess deserves, but it’s portrayal of Gendo was really good here and I give credit to it. The rest of the characters are ruined, though.
This is an example of character assassination, taking the brilliance of the show and morphing it into a Frankenstein‘s monster of fan service and fan fiction using Evangelion’s characters and new annoying characters.…

What Is a Woman? 2022
A very well made documentary that begs to ask questions of which many are afraid to answer, out of fear of being labeled as something negative. While the film itself and the creators obviously have a clear bias on the subject matter, Ben Walsh manages to conduct most of his interviews with many people who are from different walks of life with various political beliefs.
