  The whole "tasteless" criticism has been peddled around a lot, but it's not the only thing that's bothersome about the film. Wired is inconsistent, unfunny, boring, and has no merit to its direction and writing. The tonal shifts are extremely jarring as the film often jumps from a War on Drugs PSA to a slapstick comedy with a Puerto Rican angel, to a dark satire on Belushi's life.   It is no doubt that Rocky IV has a become huge joke of a film in the recent years. Indeed, with the third and the fourth installments the Rocky franchise headed more into the action territory but while the Rocky III still packed an emotional punch, the fourth offering from the series is pure chaos and excitement.
