  the dreams of youth are the regrets of maturity.

  nothing quite like this. been a pretty rough month and my internet was down for a day so i popped in my arrow-edition blu ray of this and i was enchanted once more. i do truly believe this is the greatest a movie has ever looked. i could watch this on mute 60 times over and be enamored every single time. the greatest fairy tale of all.

  this thing moves like lightning in the first 45 minutes, and then takes its sweet time making it to the finish line. love this a lot though. insane how familiar it all feels. so incredibly tense and paranoid. can only imagine what it felt like to watch this during the pandemic. everyone in the ensemble is doing great work.

  i gotta stop feeling guilty.

  probably the most fun i’ve had at the movies in a long time. deeply messy film but it is just such a blast. bong joon-ho’s american films are all extremely heavy handed but they’re still really fun. park chan-wook said that pattinson should get both best actor AND best supporting actor, and he couldn’t have been more on the money. a dual performance unlike any other. rivals fassbender in alien: covenant. he’s doing funny voices! he’s…
