Have been watching this at least 2-3 times a week in short bursts. It’s overtaken Balto, Iron Giant, and My Neighbour Totoro as the most requested

Honestly, pretty profound

Here’s my truth:

1) I laughed a lot and enjoyed this movie more than The Batman

2) there are sequences that are overlong, but they don’t hamper the film as a whole

3) Brendan Fraser is a performance artist in this film, not an actor. Wow he is committed, hilarious, and innocent - the platonic himbo?

4) the frequently inspired writing and occasional wtf moments made me feel a deep sadness that YA/kids content doesn’t get crafted like this anymore - see that INCREDIBLE stunt of George swinging on the Golden Gate Bridge?!?!?!
