Nimona takes palce in this medieval-sci-fi gimmicky world that never feels like so, it has the Attack-on-Titan-ass walled city governed by a totalitarian party, it has betrayal, it has action, military, romance... everything you can ask of a blockbuster-wannabe film that wants to appeal to as much people as possible. Yet its so cliche, redundant, bland, cheesy and afraid to commit to any of its ideas or to do anything of its own that it just doesn't work.
