  what does it mean to watch this movie now in 2024 gaza genocide? the images of men carrying bodies which killed by israeli airstrikes. the parents crying for their dead children. the rubble, the destruction, the death. it was filmed on cellulose film then, it is being filmed digitally on tiktok, instagram, twitter now. same then same now. and zionism is still fascism.

  this film almost serves like a metaphor of palestine; partially lost yet somehow still alive, refusing to whither away. it continues to exist.
