Definitely a creative and entertaining watch with not an obnoxiously disgusting amount of body horror. Just an expected amount of disgust. Overall, I do think this movie deserves to be nominated for original screenplay and best makeup and hairstyling. It’s creative and the colors and lighting is beautiful. Touches on self love and accepting different ages of yourself and how sometimes the “best stages” of yourself pass by unnoticed. I think my biggest issue with this film is it being nominated for best picture…it’s cool that something with body horror is even being considered but I don’t think this should even be nominated for that category.
