Look, I’ve watched my share of horror films, wasn’t even bothered by that scene in Hereditary. But something about the bathtub scene will haunt me until the day I die, and not in a cool, artistic way. More like it opened up a dark hole inside of me where even the barest dregs of light and hope can drain away at any moment. I’m curious to watch it again. I think I literally got secondary trauma from watching this film.…
