I'm still not 100% why it's called Egoist. I have a theory, but then that would spoil the film. So I'll hold my thoughts.

The movie was heading into a direction I was anticipating, but at the HALFWAY MARK! Then it went into a whole different film.

If it wasn't for the last 40 minutes of the film, this movie would have dropped on star ratings. The 3rd act saved this film.

Can someone explain why Kosuke is obsessing over his eyebrows so much? I think we cut to him darkening his eyebrows like 8 times.

Who needs a remake when you have this classic! I totally relate to Lilo.

For my rating on this documentary it depends on how you look at it. Just as a fashion documentary it's perfectly fine.

However, this documentary was trying state the Gala was not using orientalism as a prop for Western society, but a way to display the vast art China has provided to the world. -__-

    WHO ARE WE FOOLING HERE?

Best example, the documentary at the beginning stated how they didn't want to be perceived as a Chinese Disneyland caricature, but at the very end of the documentary the photographer reviewing the photographs stated "it's like a Disney movie." 😳😬

This movie scared the crap out of me almost 20 years ago and still does to this day. I lived in a lone house in a field surrounded by crops just like the movie. I couldn't sleep properly for a full week and couldn't walk outside in the dark without being scared. I still have problems going outside in the dark at my childhood home to this day because of this dam movie.

Does anybody else have this problem?
