  But seriously it was kinda on the nose. I’m not sure how I feel about the vampire being so blatantly evil/disgusting but it works up until a point. I love Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992) too much to really be trusted on the subject though. Lily Rose Depp was the best part of the movie! She was so scary lol

  Not as good as the original. Kind of took away from a lot of the symbolism/themes/goodness of Alien. In the first movie, people are picked off one by one by a practically invincible abomination born from rape who kills for seemingly no reason. In Aliens, a lot of the mystique is gone since the Xenomorphs (even giving the alien a name kinda ruins it) are reduced to simple animals with a natural drive to reproduce. It’s just part of their life…
