  Went solo last night and saw this on a CineXL 80-foot screen with a Dolby Atmos 40,000-watt sound system. What a way to see this film. 

  An absolute masterclass from John Carpenter. Potentially his magnum opus. 

  Favorite NEW takeaway from this film: the score. Ennio Morricone did his fucking thing with this. It makes you think that it was scored by John Carpenter, almost imitating his style. The iconic thumping low synth playing during the final shot of the camp…

  About as dark of a comedy as they come. Definitely NOT for sensitive viewers 

  Ultra bizarre premise and one that stands by itself in terms of uniqueness. It is so aware of itself the entire time 

  The themes of this movie are dark as hell. But nothing is taken seriously by the characters, which allowed for an uncomfortable but enjoyable experience.
