So relentlessly and inelegantly nihilistic to the point that no scene meant anything emotionally. I could see the glimmers of an effective psychological thriller and I agree that the film is shot beautifully, but the fact that it uses a real person’s real pain as well as the high number of unnecessarily violating scenes and the ending made this completely unlikeable for me.
