  The Menu meets Midsommar, not as good as either. Some good performances really and the second half has some super cool scenes. Ultimately, unfortunately, the pacing was all over the place and the themes of stardom, cults of personality (or just ordinary cults), and success were kinda flaccid. I just was not impressed.

  This is a good movie, I want to get that out the way. The ending works for me, it feels very theatrical because of the long one shots, and I liked the house as a setting. Good movie. I want to give this 4 stars but the villain gets cartoonishly evil and it totally took me out of it so I gotta lower it a bit. Still, cool stuff this movie did. Worth a watch.
