The Substance 2024
I went into this film not knowing what to expect.
I found it very visually stunning and captivating
However… in terms of the plot, it feels too similar to a few other films I’ve watched in the recent years, where on the the theme is trying to tackle a big societal issue, wealth inequality, misogyny, etc. but in the end it actually says nothing.
