  Freud's Last Session 2023

  One whole star is just for Hopkins' acting. That's an unbelievable performance that saved the film from being completely unbearable. While I do enjoy the photography (a couple of frames were vibrantly radiating out of my screen) the colour grading looks like was done by a film student in their early 20's; worse, it looks like a stock LUT was applied over the whole film.

  Could've let C.S. Lewis talk a bit more , though. A few of the times he remained silent almost made me laugh.

  In general, fun for a Sunday afternoon. Not too thought-provoking, though.

  Απαράδεκτο. Αισχρή υποκριτική, ρεβιζιονιστική αφήγηση, εντελώς απολογητική. Ξεπερασμένα και προβλεπόμενα αφηγηματικά τεχνάσματα προκειμένου να «ευαισθητοποιήσουν» τον θεατή, χειραγωγώντας τον, ούτως ώστε να έχει ενσυναίσθηση απέναντι σε ρεμάλια, ίσως ΚΑΙ θύματα, αναλόγως από ποια οπτική το κοιτάς.

  Πάντως, υπήρξαν άνθρωποι που φύγανε από τη χώρα, άνθρωποι που κράτησαν ουδέτερη στάση και άλλοι που στάθηκαν απέναντι στους Αμερικανούς και τους δικτάτορές τους. Ειλικρινά χεστήκαμε τι αισθάνονταν αυτοί που οδηγούσαν το τανκ: είχαν επιλογές.
