  The world building is there, it’s just the excessive expositional DUMP that comes at the end of the movie that makes it unenjoyable. Obviously as a watcher I want some payoff, but I want to discover this world alongside the character as she is experiencing it. Confusion for 70 minutes and then 20 minutes of explanation is not worth watching, I fear. Of course I want to watch and critic Ishana Night Shyamalan as an individual, but this is a…

  This film was ridiculously long. I get the whole visual storytelling thing, but an intertitle or two wouldn’t have hurt.
