Not bad, just not that great. It just felt really generic. Kinda like a movie that’s been done countless times already. Nothing about it really stood out.
Still a solid watch though. I enjoyed it, and it was fun to see De Niro play both characters. Idk if I’d watch it again, but I had a good time seeing it in an empty theater with my grandmother.
This was definitely a crazy episode. Super messed up to think about. Loved the space setting and the old space show vibe.
Jesse Plemons was great in this! Loved how they made him look different in the game vs. irl.
Overall, really liked it.
I knew it would be good, but I didn’t think it would be THAT good. Hugh Jackman’s performance was so amazing. Villeneuve is one of my fav directors, especially after watching this movie, so I’m glad to see him shine with this.
The writing and plot were top tier. The pacing too was top tier. I thought I’d get antsy during it, but it flew by. There was always something happening that kept me engaged or tensed up.
This is definitely a generational movie.
Wow. Surprised I’ve never seen it before. Easily a 5 star. This is so iconic and the source for many cliches, which I found cool.
The highlight was the dialogue. This is one of my favorite scripts. Everything about the dialogue was so great. The practical effects really shined too. They did it really well, and it looked great! The soundtrack too is obviously top tier.
Overall, this is AMAZING.
