The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring 2001
Watched this in a theater for the first time and man does it just hit different. Something about the way the music swells in those emotional moments hits you in the feels in a way that watching at home didn't quite do. Maybe it's just watching it again at a particular moment in life but this really is just one of the best films and film franchises of all time. The way characters cry for eachother. the way Aragorn kisses…

The Room 2003
Saw a showing presented by Tommy Wiseau himself in LA. The entire theater brought plastic spoons to throw across the room whenever the painting of a spoon was on screen. Every time there was water on screen the whole room yelled "WATER!" There was a theater wide inside joke every frame and continued the whole way through. I've never laughed so hard and so thoroughly during a movie. What an absolute masterpiece. 👏
