The Mummy's Tomb 1942
The opening was something like twelve minutes of a highlight reel recap of the last movie which is a big chunk of time for such a short film. That aside this was enjoyable, not my favourite Mummy movie but worth the watch. The finale is the best part, gotta love the classic Universal mob of angry people with torches chasing down a monster

That scene where she throws a chair at him is easily one of the funniest things I’ve ever experienced in a movie.
This was fun and very humorous, bit light on the actual songs but overall a very enjoyable musical! Loved Gene Kelly’s big dance number in his slutty lil pirate shorts

The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie 2024
I’ve always had such a soft spot for Looney Tunes and this movie was exactly the kind of cartoonish weird fun you’d want from a Looney Tunes movie. My brother and I were laughing more than any of the children in the theatre and I continued to laugh thinking about my favourite bits on the drive home.
Also loved the animation! 2D animation needs more love these days so it was great to see. It’s sad this movie isn’t being marketed better because it’s a really fun time
