Pretty good adaptation but not nearly as good as the book. They changed certain scenes and discarded certain moments that made it less…real. But overall still sweet and true to the story.

This was sweet and hilarious and honestly kinda scary. Bill Pullman and Christina Ricci slapped. Casper was wildly smooth for a dead 12 YO. The ghost uncles were realistic in the sense that they were stubborn squatters hazing their next potential friend-for-afterlife. Loved how they didn’t understand how vacuums worked though.
