Nightbitch is a wild ride. It takes on the serious stuff like womanhood and motherhood, but instead of being heavy, it’s hilariously absurd. The script is silly—think werewolf transformation meets existential crisis. It’s not about the subject matter being silly, but the way the dialogue and situations unfold. Its a very good time spent and would definitely recommend to give it a watch.

It’s a shame it’s taken this long for Mikey to get her breakthrough but this performance is more than deserved! Incredible film with stellar performances across the board. The pacing, soundtrack, cinematography, and editing are all very well done. Sean Baker adds yet another classic to his repertoire.
Poor Garnik just wanted to be thankful for his job… Justice for Garnik! Get this man some good pain pills!

A rewatch of this film made me appreciate Denis Villeneuve so much and has now bumped him into MAYBE my top 5 film makers of all time? His vast wide shots showing you the rainfall dystopian Los Angeles Skyline to the Desert Wasteland of Las Vegas. He is able to show scale and make you feel as you are in/part of the environment you are seeing on the screen.
It’s a visual masterpiece and has a very pleasing narrative throughout…
