not a very good movie, but one with passion that is genuinely entertaining the entire way through. great for group watching. this movie has such an insane concentration of people with funny voices i cannot believe it

great flick held back by being somewhat formulaic and being nothing new for anybody familiar with dylan really. but at the same time a very good watch, chalamet is fantastic as dylan. i think it portrays the feeling of being around dylan very well rather than trying to really get into his head, tiptoeing around things in the way dylan himself would. like i said it’s only somewhat formulaic, i think it has some spins and nuances in there that are neat. made me want to relisten to his music. definitely recommend

absolute schlock in the best way possible. almost every death in this movie is punctuated by a comical explosion. our protagonist is comically terrible at his job, by the end of the movie the villain has done literally everything he planned to do at the beginning and our supposed hero has failed at literally everything, he doesn’t even kill the main villain at the end!!! also i feel like the fact that the evil biker gang were, like. turbo-racists is never brought up is weird, especially since two different characters are like “yeah, we used to be like a family!” about the gang of nazis
