Must-watch action schlock. Once the gas pedal is pressed down, it rarely lets up for the rest of the movie. Our protagonist is a bumbling boob that barrels through his work with the finesse of a linebacker in a china shop. He fails at everything and both villains and innocent civilians die in droves via awesome violent explosions. Lance Henriksen saves his role with insane charisma and not doing what was originally planned (speaking only in Bible verses oh my GOD).

Watch this with a group of friends, and you won't be disappointed - genuinely a hilarious watch from beginning to end, and I can't wait for the sequel. Brandon may be the greatest protagonist to exist.

Gremlins 2: The New Batch 1990
The greatest sequel of all time. Joe Dante is an incredible director, and the fact that he just took Gremlins and went Looney Tunes crazy mode as much as he could go, doing everything within his power to make the movie as bombastic and absurd as possible, is one of the most admirable acts I can think of as a filmmaker. Dick Miller encounters a gargoyle-mlin. What else could you ask for?
