  its got the bones of a good story here but the dialogue was soooooooo bad. if you at the production history, john logan initially came up with this story here, but they/he really should have continued with it. he's a much better screenwriter than david scarpa, sorry man but he just cannot hack it look at his filmography!!

  i gotta appreciate the spectacle of it and i did like the histrionic acting choices. although only really denzel could say any of his lines with true conviction and believability. the only actor who can literally take the worst script and find the fun in it.
