  It was good but felt like it could’ve gone further. There were moments where it almost hit me emotionally, but instead of pushing through, it pulled back. But it was cute.

  This movie gave a warm, nostalgic New England Christmas vibe story. The no one wants to be here but we are gonna make the most of it. It reminded me of films like Mona Lisa Smile and Dead Poets Society, but with a holiday twist. The familiar trope of a teacher influencing a stubborn student. I understand they were going for that 70s-style movie aesthetic, but at times, I found myself wishing I could speed it up just a tinyyy bit.…

  Uh…I can’t really talk ab what I exactly saw in the movie. I personally cannot. If you watched the movie you know what I mean. What I will say about it was I really enjoyed the 35mm filming style along with the ambiance of this opulent lifestyle that seems to be the supposed dream that certain people are attracted to. This movie reminded me of a prequel to Talented Mr. Ripley. That’s all. I need to clean my bathtub twice now.
