The Monkey 2025
Almost fills the Coyote v. ACME sized hole in my heart. One of the most creative horror comedies I’ve seen in a minute.
Definitely more of a dark comedy with horror elements as opposed to a horror with comedic elements (which is I think why so many people are being extra pissy about it). Would love to see more comedies like this from Osgood Perkins in the future.

I’m questioning everyone’s taste right now. Was this better than the 2016 one? Yes, but that’s such a low bar that it’s not fair to even compare the two. This one still isn’t a good movie.
This was just James Gunn ripping off James Gunn.
Most of the jokes didn’t land. The opening sequence where all of Team One is killed was funnier when Deadpool 2 did it.
