The movie is at its best and has the most energy in the beginning, which mostly centers around Mickey losing his lives and explaining how we got to "17". The film then quickly loses steam and focus when we get to the duplicates, however (not really a spoiler since its in the trailer). It dips into other themes like MAGA, the religious right, colonization, racism and eugenics, etc., and even similarities to Starship Troopers and "Devil in the Dark" from…

This is a movie about a Chinese gorilla who plays baseball in Korea. This should be silly fun but the movie is dragged down by bizarre pacing and self serious nonsense about circus gambling debts and the ethics of "selling" Korean players to Japan and the US. With the latter thing you just have to accept that some cultures have different values I suppose?

It's just as bad as people are hyping. Perhaps worse.

The acting is atrocious across the board. Yes, even Adam Scott. The worst performance is by the guy who plays the villain, who gives perhaps the worst superhero villain performance of all time. The most hilarious part is that seemingly all of his dialogue is ADR'd. It's really distracting.

If you want a movie about a character using prescience to guide the future, watch Dune. This stinks! And let's just…

Pretty fun and creepy enough. Didn't care about the AI stuff. Could have done without the long montage that explains everything in the beginning, which should just have been a few clips of the show without narration. The rest of the movie is a tape of the "episode" with B-roll footage, which is a fun conceit but the B-roll footage feels like some obvious cheating. Good performances by David Dastmalchian, Ingrid Torelli, and Ian Bliss.
